A little inspiration can go a long way, especially when you’re struggling with perimenopause. Your body’s going through a lot of changes. Your hormones are in flux. Worse, it seems like no one talks openly about menopause and how it feels. Women all over the world experience it, so why isn’t anyone talking about it?

Dr. Anna Cabeca, known as The Girlfriend Doctor on Instagram, is a mom, physician for women, and an inspirational speaker and educator. Her Instagram page is full of inspirational lists, quotes, and videos. We love seeing her no-nonsense posts about women’s universal struggles with menopause, and how to continue feeling young and vibrant well into your years. One of the keys, according to The Girlfriend Doctor? “Eat like you love your body.”

Pamela Windle is a licensed women’s health coach and hypnotherapist. She specializes in helping perimenopausal and menopausal women feel “stronger, calmer and more empowered than ever before.” Her Instagram page is full of useful information about the relationship between weight gain and hormones during perimenopause, symptoms of imbalanced estrogen levels, podcasts with menopause experts, and more. Plus, she shares a lot of great info on meditation for self-care and overall health.

Sam Beau Patrick has over 30 years of experience in the health industry. She’s worked as a nurse, a pharmaceutical representative, and a health coach. After suffering what she calls “a hormone meltdown”, Sam went looking for answers. Since discovering the impact that hormone imbalances had on her own life, she’s dedicated herself to helping other women understand their hormones, better handle stress, and work through perimenopause for a healthier life during and after menopause.

She’s a self-proclaimed nerd whose true passion is helping women, especially perimenopausal and menopausal women. She’s been focused on helping women through midlife since 2008, when she first published her book, Menopause: Your Management Your Way … Now and for the Rest of your Life. Since then, she’s developed a 12-hour menopause seminar, and she helps clients with one-on-one consulting too.

Barbie’s instagram page is full of great advice, peppered with a lot of fun humor. Whether you want to learn about how hormones relate to dementia and alzheimer’s disease, or if you’re looking for an inspirational quote, Barbie is there for you!

Angie’s Hot and Flashy beauty and style instagram page focuses specifically on women over 50. Her tagline, “Maintain a little notness in your hot flash years!” says it all. The fashion industry is so youth-focused; it can be difficult to find fashion and beauty influencers who really know what it’s like to live with wrinkles, crows’ feet, and sun spots.
